Easter with Grandma Gayle

We spent Easter Sunday with grandma Gayle and Aunt Chantal. We went to church and then met at her house for lunch. After we ate, grandma said she had a little something for the kids and wanted to go to the park. The weather was beautiful and Cooper thoroughly enjoyed searching for Easter eggs. He ran from one end of the park to the other. I have a video of him doing this, but won't be able to put it on until later.

Maylea enjoyed just sitting in the grass (not touching it) playing with her egg.

After Cooper had found all his eggs we walked over to the playground and played. We played on the swings for quite awhile and then Cooper was off to play with everything else.

Easter Videos

Tried to get a couple videos of the kids. You can see/hear in one of them that the Slinky took all the attention away from the kids and that none of us know the dang jingle that goes with it. In the other video, I went to a new class at the gym called HoopFitness. It is a fitness class that uses Hula-Hoops for core strength. Cooper saw what I was doing and said, "momma, I saw you using your hoop-a-loop like this" and started to demonstrate. I was trying to get a video of him demonstrating and telling us what he calls it.....but you can hear how everyone else is trying to help!!!

Maylea's 1st Easter

Maylea was not in a very good mood when I tried to take a few pictures of her, but I was able to get a couple decent pictures of her.

Easter with the Meyer's

Grandma Sheri continues the Urbanek tradition by doing the Easter egg hunt with my kids every year (well, this is Maylea's 1st). Cooper was a little disappointed when he got outside and realized he wasn't looking for just Easter eggs. I think that he got over it pretty quickly, but he made sure to let grandma know that he was supposed to be hunting for eggs!!!

Maylea did pretty well. She was kinda funny with a few things that were hidden in the grass. She does not like to touch the grass, but still tried to find ways to get to her goodies. She would get the biggest smile on her face every time she was able to find something and for the most part did most of the picking up herself!

Great face Maylea!

Looking through all the goodies.

Get off of me brother, I'm playing!

Grandpa Meyer did not want to come outside with us, but grandma Meyer did. I got a good picture of her with the kids.

Playing in the wind

Cooper had his friend, Hunter, over to play. Just as we were getting ready to go outside to play on the swing set, Maylea had a little "blow out". I just grabbed some jammers for her to wear so that I didn't have to mess with shoes and socks. Maylea was in the swing most of the time, but I sat her in the grass (which she doesn't like to touch). It was a nice day, but very windy. She just loved the wind blowing in her face.
