Riverfest/ Mother's Day

Cooper got to spend Mother's Day weekend (Thurs. - Sun.) in Wichita with Aunt Cori, Uncle Luke, grandma, and grandpa. Cooper got to spend the night with both of them. Wichita Riverfest had started that weekend so on Saturday Aunt Cori and Grandma took Cooper to the Kids Corner to play.

He got to play in the inflatable "jumpers".
He also got to ride the John Deere "tractors". This first picture is probably a picture that only a mother can enjoy, but it is one of my favorite. Cooper is actually saying, "cheese" and with the expression on his face, I can just hear him.

Does it look like he is driving really fast?

Cooper likes to sit on daddy's mower and it looks like he found one just like it.

Twister anyone?? I now that isn't what this is, but sure looks like it to me. Could you imagine playing on this and not on a solid surface? Mom, Dad, Luke, and Cori brought Cooper to Emporia on Mothers Day and joined the Hamlin family in out "traditional" BBQ at Peter Pan Park. This is the second year we have done this. We grill hamburgers and hot dogs then the kids all play. This year the weather wasn't great, but we still had a good time.

This is how Maylea spent most of her day.
