KU Spring game

On Saturday we all drove up to Lawrence to meet our friends, Brandon and Natalie, to watch the KU spring football game. We got there a little early to tailgate and then went in to watch the 1st half. Cooper had a soccer game back home so we couldn't stay the whole time.

Cooper and Natalie played catch with his little football.

Maylea was just as content as could be sitting in Coopers little chair (that has catsup all over it). She just sat a watched what everyone was doing.

Walking up to the stadium

One of the ladies that I work with (and love dearly) has a son that plays on the team. I had to throw in a picture: Brian Blackwell #37. Brian was a senior when I started here so I didn't really get to know him, but have gotten to know the rest of the family in the last 4 years and they really are good people!!!!

AC/DC Concert

We bought tickets to go see AC/DC MONTHS ago. This concert was Joshua's "dream" concert. He has been before, but it was about 10 years ago. The concert was supposed to be in October, but when Brian, the lead singer, had to have surgery they postponed a few concerts. The Sunday after Joshua's dad had his stroke is when it was scheduled for. We talked about not going, but still decided to go. I am glad that we did. We were both able to forget about what was going on back home for a little while!!!

This was on the screen during the show.
We met up with Joshua's oldest brother, Rick, and some friends down in the P&L district before the show.

This is Rick aka Uncle Ricco

We had great seats for the show. I just wish I would have watched more of it and not taken so many pictures....I ended up with about 250.

Spring Soccer

Cooper did SOOOOO much better this time in soccer. I don't know if it is because daddy wasn't coaching or just because he has grown up, but he actually stayed on the field and did what he was told to do. I got a couple pictures of him (and the team) at the tournament on Saturday. If you can not find Cooper in the pictures, he is the kid with his hand(s) on his penis!!! Virtually every picture.....what's the deal????

Looks like he needs to pee.....who knows.

A couple season ago a mother made these little capes for the kids to wear when they scrimmage b/c all the jerseys they had were too big for the kids (to help determine who is on which team). They have just continued to be used year after year.

Someone needs a hair cut!
Oh look, he can stand still without touching it!!!
Cooper is telling Avery which way here team is supposed to kick the ball. Avery is Coopers little friend (we will just say from daycare). She is the cutest little girl with the cutest little voice. She didn't want to go play, so Cooper went over, grabbed her hand, and said, "come play with me Avery." She then thought it was okay.

Cooper trying to get the ball from Avery. Cooper ended up on the ground, and Avery scored!!!

After the big goal! Look at that sweet smile.

Just watching the other kids play.

Maylea Brenae 1 yr. photos

Maylea was not the most cooperative little girl when we were trying to take her 1 year pictures, but with her behavior we were still able to get a couple of good shots.

She figured out she could rock!

This photo was the one that I requested. I call Maylea "Angel" and thought it would be cute to have a picture of her with wings (just a keepsake for myself). Maylea DID NOT like the wings, and she would not cooperate. The fact that we even got this one surprises me. She doesn't even look like the same girl!!!
